Hair and Likeness Project
This is my first project since graduating, and I wanted to challenge myself with something new—likeness and hair cards! I realized after starting that I chose a pretty tricky hairstyle for my first attempt (caused many headaches), but it was a great learning experience. :) I didn't want to worry too much about the polycount for the head and clothes so I kept manual retopology to a minimum.
I had the amazing opportunity to be mentored by Rocksteady Character Artist, Faye Meadows thanks to Limit Break. Her feedback and guidance throughout the process helped me push my work further than I expected. I’m super excited to keep incorporating hair cards into my future projects—hopefully with a simpler hairstyle next time! :')
